PNEUMATIC ABRASIVE PICK UP
The Pneumatic Abrasive Pick up eliminates hand lifting of
abrasive when refilling the blasting generator.
Designed to fit on top of most standard blast tanks that are
22" in diameter or larger and that are equipped with a filler valve that can
be operated from the side. Equipment consists of a high velocity
Venturi type vacuum head that is connected to your compressed air supply
line. The storage tank has a 700 lb capacity. Included is 15'of
2" diameter vacuum hose, suction pick up tube, and floor hopper. The
storage tank and floor hopper have removable cleaning screens for separating
larger particles from the abrasive. The hopper can be placed on the
floor of the blasting room, or for better efficiency can be placed into a
shallow pit inside the room. Rated capacity at 90 psi with abrasive is
65 to 70 lbs per minute. Use 1" diameter air hose or pipe for the
compressed air supply. A 3" diameter hose or pipe is recommended for
diverting exhaust from the venturi head back into the blast room.
